Geist Residence 1

This custom residence is defined by a composition of intersecting volumes that balance warm natural materials with a restrained contemporary palette. Wood siding, stone, and dark cladding are layered to break down the overall mass and create depth across the façade.

The layout is organized around a central entry sequence and vertical circulation spine, with large expanses of glass bringing natural light into the core of the home. Interior spaces are oriented to capture views of the surrounding landscape while maintaining privacy from the approach.

An elevated outdoor terrace extends the primary living areas, creating a dedicated space for gathering and outdoor living. Defined by a structural pergola and overlooking the site, the terrace becomes a focal point of the design—blurring the boundary between interior and exterior while reinforcing the home’s connection to its setting.
